Our Booking Policies

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • A booking at Camping Berkel becomes definitive after approval by the campsite and after receipt of your deposit. Payments can be made by bank transfer, by card or cash.

  • Any change / cancellation of the booking must be requested by email to info@campingberkel.com. Camping Berkel will take into account the current availability when answering your change request. All requests are subject to approval.

  • Visitors: Visitors to your camping pitch must first report to the reception, unless otherwise agreed in advance. All persons who enter the campsite without having booked at the campsite are considered visitors.

  • Minors without guidance from their parents or legal guardians are not allowed, except with the express permission of the campsite management.

  • The campsite reserves the right to refuse group bookings.

 

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR CAMPING PITCHES

  • The campsite pitch is available from 12:00 on the day of arrival.

  • The campsite pitch must be vacated by noon on the day of departure.

  • Campers should leave the place neat and tidy on departure.

  • The campsite will try to place everyone on the reserved spot: however, in case of force majeure, an alternative spot can be designated.

  • A campsite pitch is reserved until 20:00 on the day of arrival. If a camping pitch is not taken before that time, the reservation will be canceled automatically, unless a late arrival has been communicated in advance.

  • In case of early departure or later arrival, the fully agreed rate remains due.

  • Pets are allowed on  the campsite; it is the responsibility of the owner of the pet to not cause any inconvenience. If the pet causes annoyance or trouble to other guests, the management of the campsite can refuse the pet on the campsite.

  • Deposit: When booking, 50% of the total rental price is requested as a deposit. This must be paid by bank transfer within 14 days of receipt of the confirmation invoice.

  • The remaining amount for your stay must be paid at the campsite on arrival or transferred 14 days before arrival.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR THE RENTAL OF OUR SAFARI TENTS, B&B ROOMS AND OUR APARTMENT

  • Pets are not allowed in the Safari tents.

  • Accommodations are available from 3:00 PM and must be vacated by 10:00 AM.

  • The accommodation will be reserved until 20:00 on the day of arrival. If the booker did not show up until then, the reservation will be canceled automatically unless a late arrival has been communicated in advance.

  • Shortened stays (late arrival, early departure) will not be refunded.

  • 1 vehicle per accommodation is included in the booking price.

  • The respective accommodation is suitable for a certain number of people. It is not allowed to exceed this maximum number of persons (including children and babies). If this does happen, management has the right to deny additional persons access to the property. It is possible, if discussed in advance, to set up an extra tent next to the Safari tent.

  • Visitors: Visitors to your campsite must report at the reception desk on arrival.

  • Deposit: When applying for an accommodation, 50% of the total costs must be paid in advance, via an (international) bank transaction, within 14 days after receiving the invoice. The remaining payment must be paid 14 days before arrival or upon arrival at the reception desk.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

  • If  the booking is canceled more than 90 days before the arrival date, 100% of the deposit will be refunded.

  • If the booking is canceled more than 30 days before the arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

  • If the booking is canceled less than 30 days before the arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded.

​

We would like to point out to our guests that it may be wise to take a cancellation insurance.
